The long wait is finally over. If you've been following the Dalvin Cook drama and have been constantly wondering when and who is he going to play for, now you know; it's the J-E-T-S. The only thing I have to say about that is, I'm glad it's not with the Packers.

By now, you should know that I am a BIG Vikings fan. I've been watching the team since the 90's. Coach Denny Green, Cris Carter, Randall Cunningham, Robert Smith, Randy Moss. The list goes on and on.

So what's Dalvin Cook's deal with the Jets? Many NFL reporters have been talking about how it's just for one season and he's getting 8.6 million; which is about half of what he was supposed to get with the Vikings before Kwesi decided that paying him 14.5 million for this season wasn't worth it.

THEN, Kwesi went and restructured Danielle Hunter's contract for one year worth up to 20 million. So far, I haven't figured out how he can afford that but not afford someone like Cook or Thielen, both of which are well established and have played more games than Hunter. I mean, I get that his sack stats are impressive for the limited time he's been on the field, but at the same time, for someone like Thielen or Cook, both players are just as valuable as Hunter. So why not pay them?

Here’s what I think is going to happen this season. Cook playing for the Jets will not only help the team make the playoffs, but he will go to the pro bowl. Thielen will have at least 1,100 yards recieving and at least 10 touchdowns, and the Vikings will end up with a 9-8 win loss record missing out on the playoffs. That will mean Kwesi will let Kirk Cousins test the Free Agency waters next offseason and he will get snatched up by the 49ers. Brock Purdy will get let go because he’ll have a bad season and Aaron Rogers MIGHT beat out Patrick Mahomes for League MVP in 2023-24.

If all my BOLD predictions don't come true that's great, but as a Vikings fan for the last thirty five years, let's just say I'm cautiously optimistic.
