As of today, there are at least three Minnesota Vikings players that already have new homes. Eric Kendricks signed with the Los Angeles Chargers and Patrick Peterson signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. NFL insider Ian Rappaport tweeted about five hours ago that the Steelers made a deal for Peterson. Jason Hall for KFAN posted an article about an hour ago sharing that Kendricks posted a video on Instagram announcing his joining the Los Angeles Chargers. This is interesting because he played college ball at UCLA before going pro. They already have a stout defense that includes Joey Bosa, now they will have a stud middle linebacker in Kendricks. Don’t forget that the Chargers also have former NDSU Bison QB Easton Stick. He will be backing up the Pro Bowler Justin Herbert. The Chargers will now be a contender in the AFC with the addition of Kendricks.

Profootballchase is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have agreed to terms with Defensive Tackle Dalvin Tomlinson. The deal is for four years paying him $57M. This, to me, is not good. The Vikings had a decent defensive line that included Tomlinson and now he joins a new team that has a ton of former Vikings players. Their head coach is even a former Minnesota Viking. It looks like the entire defense is going into a complete overhaul. I sure hope new Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores can come up with a good scheme to help the team be better than last season.

Profootballchase is also sharing tonight that Cam Dantzler, Sr has been claimed off waivers by the Washington Commanders. That means it’s going to be Akayleb Evans more than likely taking his job. There are other talented players on the roster, but I think that he will be the starter this coming season. I’m also waiting to hear the word on Harrison Smith. If he is released or cut by the team, then I would imagine that its up to Lewis Cine as long as he stays healthy.
