"So what you're saying is…there's still a chance!"
The Minnesota Vikings still have a chance to make the NFL playoffs

Yesterday, I watched a facebook reels video while on my lunch break from a guy who strongly believes that the Vikings have a real good chance to make NFL history again this season. I say again because he thinks that they could be one of the rare teams in league history to make the playoffs after starting 0-3.
One of his reasons was that the Vikings have a very favorable schedule coming up. Looking at their schedule, I think that he is right. The Packers, Falcons, Saints, Broncos, and Bears are all not very good. They have a really good chance to win all five games. However, if they lose any one of those games, I'd say that it would be to the Bears. I think that sometimes when they feel like they are on a roll, they start to relax a little bit and that's when they start to have problems. I think that if they can stay aggressive on both sides of the ball, they will be just fine.
Another point that was made was that Kirk Cousins is playing really good football right now. I can't argue with that. He actually has played pretty well given the adversity the team has been through so far.
A third reason why he thought that the Vikings can make the playoffs this season is that the defense will only get better as the season progresses. Coach Flores is very aggressive and I, as a fan, love it. They are number one in the league in blitzing at almost sixty percent. Give the defense some credit, they have made plays when they needed to. They will get better over time as long as they are consistent.
I try to be as optimistic as I can when it comes to my favorite NFL team. At times though, it's really frustrating to watch.
In summary, I think the Vikings do have a chance to make it into the playoffs. I think that the offensive line of the Vikings is getting better with the addition of Dalton Risner. I think that Kirk Cousins is definitely the team's leader. I think that the Vikings defense will get alot better under Coach Flores. In the end, I think the Vikings win-loss record will be 10-7.
