As I was scrolling through facebook this morning, which is part of my normal routine right after waking up, I stumbled upon an article written by Dusty Baker. He loves writing about the Vikings. He writes about their news and game summaries and so forth.

At any rate, the article I clicked on this morning was about the Vikings signing Dean Lowry to an $8 M contract. He is to replace Dalvin Tomlinson on the defensive line. Again, as I was reading it, I got to thinking about all the players that have gone from the Packers to the Vikings. It’s weird to think that the Vikings get all these players from a HUGE divisional rival and yet they still can’t get passed the NFC Championship.

So who went to the Vikings from the Packers? Right off the top of my head, I can think of Brett Favre, Za’Darius Smith, Chandon Sullivan, Kicker Ryan Longwell, Wide Receiver Greg Jennings, and there are plenty more that I can’t think of at the moment. The point is, that with the newly acquired Dean Lowry, it’s almost like the Vikings are rebuilding a Packers roster. So, in my mind, that’s why we can never win the big game! Our favorite team keeps taking players from the Packers that aren’t very good!

That’s so weird!

Who could be next? If Aaron Rodgers keeps following the path of Brett Favre, our beloved team just might pick him up on his way out of the NFL.
